Get PUMPed was started by a young mom, Amanda Pacheco, after she donated her breastmilk to the 6-week-old daughter of her neighbor who passed away suddenly in her sleep. She rallied other moms to donate their breast milk, and they were able to feed the 6-week-old all the way to her 7th month!
Get PUMPed is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing breast milk to babies in Central Florida who, due to extraordinary circumstances, cannot be nursed by their biological mothers. There are many ways to get involved. Please inquire today about how you can become a cherished part of the Get PUMPed! family. We are always looking for volunteers, milk donors, and sponsors.
